Our Purpose

The following Articles of Organization, filed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in support of our nonprofit status, list the functions that Arkhom, Inc. was established to fulfill. Created in 1997 and inspired by the core geometry of the Gaia Matrix, Arkhom, Inc. was formed to conduct research, produces educational materials, designs seminars, and plans to establish a populist GIS, or Geographical Information System. Commonwealth of Massachusetts Articles of Organization Article II The purpose of this corporation is to engage in the following activities: To initiate and administer programs exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, and literary purposes within the meaning of IRS Section 501 (c) (3), and in furtherance of such purposes but not in limitation thereof, to: (1) educate the general public about geomancy and the Arkhom earth grid; (2) collaborate with researchers, educators and other individuals and organizations interested in geomancy; (3) conduct seminars, conferences and other such educational events which teach philosophies, technologies and practical skills to adopt environmentally conscious and sustainable lifestyles; (4) create public art and celebratory events which further the use of the Arkhom earth grid as a cultural tool; (5) provide consulting and educational services with respect to any of the above; (6) publish and distribute magazines, books, and other literature and computer generated material for the above-mentioned educational purposes; (7) provide charitable services both nationally and internationally where need arises; and (8) make grants or otherwise distribute funds to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations pursuant to IRS Section 501 (c) (3) as amended from time to time.

Arkhom, Inc. is a nonprofit educational, scientific, literary, and charitable organization devoted to furthering public awareness of North American earth energy grids, including the core Arkhom landscape geometry of the Northeast and the continental Gaia Matrix that extends from it.

Our purpose is also to offer a vision of the future grounded in gaian values of community and sustainability, while providing specific ideas and tools to help our evolving culture live in harmony with the sentient earth.

The book Gaia Matrix: Arkhom and the Geometries of Destiny in the North American Landscape (published by Franklin Media in 1999) describes Peter Champoux's discovery of the dynamic patterns of vital energy underlying North American history, culture, and spiritual destiny. A visionary work, Gaia Matrix sheds new light on our understanding of human consciousness, our connection to the planet, and future human evolution.

Founded in 1997, the activities of Arkhom, Inc. include nature-based educational events, public celebrations and art, consulting services, publications, and the planned development of a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) database.

Contributions to Arkhom are tax-exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

There are many ways to participate in Arkhom, Inc. as we join together to co-create a sustainable culture in this new millennium. Arkhom welcomes your support. There are many individual specific and creative ways to become involved. One key way is to help spread the word by reading, sharing, and discussing Gaia Matrix: Arkhom and the Geometries of Destiny in the North American Landscape.

We encourage you to buy extra copies for your friends or form a study group, write reviews for your local papers, make a gift to your library, or use it as a classroom resource or text.
